Inspired by the FAPD 5101 navigator’s watch issued to U.S. Air Force crews around 1970, the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 250 revives the rugged simplicity and authentic character of a true military timepiece. Created exclusively in 2026 to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, this special edition is limited to just 1,776 pieces.

Its compact 36mm stainless steel case, black dial, acrylic box crystal, fixed bars, and khaki cotton NATO strap remain faithful to the utilitarian design of the original military-issued watch. Enhanced with Super-LumiNova® Grade X2 for improved visibility and a protective dust cover, every detail reflects Hamilton’s longstanding military heritage.

At its heart is Hamilton’s hand-wound H-50 mechanical movement, offering an extended 80-hour power reserve for dependable performance even when the watch is not wound for several days. The Nivachron balance spring provides added resistance to magnetic fields, temperature changes, and everyday shocks.
