Our Story
Over the past four generations, our family has built a legacy of excellence in the jewelry industry. In 1980, the American Dream was achieved when the first Sharif Fine Jewelers opened in the heart of the Sacramento Region.
Since then, the business has continued to thrive, with our largest and original showroom located in Sacramento. Sharif Fine Jewelers has, in many ways, defined luxury for Sacramento. Through the embrace of local culture and continuous philanthropic activities, Sharif Fine Jewelers has become woven into the fabric of the local community and the hearts of its customers.
At our award-winning location, you will always find a Sharif family member and highly qualified staff to ensure your satisfaction at every step of your experience. We take pride in our commitment to quality and exceptional customer service. In addition to a wonderful shopping experience, our location offers Sharif’s famous coffee, fresh mint tea, and decadent sweets to customers, embodying the welcoming Sharif experience. When you enter and shop at Sharif Jewelers, we want you to feel like you’re part of the family.
Through personal service, attention to merchandise quality, and integrity, it is our mission to cultivate lifelong relationships with our customers and community and be the most trusted independent jeweler in the Northern California region.

Ethical Sourcing: Diamonds and the Kimberley Process
For generations, we have been hand-selecting each and every diamond that enters our stores. We work with the most trusted vendors and suppliers to ensure that we not only provide you with the best and most brilliant diamonds but that they are all ethically sourced. Each vendor we work with complies with the Kimberley Process, the Voluntary System of Warranties, and United Nations resolutions pertaining to conflict diamonds.
The Kimberley Process (KP) is a commitment to remove conflict diamonds from the global supply chain. Today, participants actively prevent 99.8% of the worldwide trade. It is the process that weeds out what are known as “blood diamonds.” Forty-three states and regional economic integration organizations make up the Kimberley Process.
Giving Back to Our Community
At Sharif Fine Jewelers, we pride ourselves on our commitment to the community. For almost five decades, we have continued to push the envelope on philanthropic efforts. Although it’s not widely known, Sharif Fine Jewelers is one of the biggest donors to charities in the Sacramento region.
